Terms of use
Last updated: April 21, 2026
These terms govern your use of iHandleIt (ihandleit.net). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What this service is
iHandleIt is a collection of small tools that use AI to help you write things — eulogies, sympathy notes, letters. You provide the facts and the tone; we draft the result. You are responsible for reviewing anything we produce before you use it.
Your license to use the site
We grant you a non-exclusive, personal license to use the tools for your own purposes — whether that's a personal letter, a speech at a family event, or a communication in your work. You may not resell the tools, scrape the output, or use automated systems to run the tools at scale without our permission.
Your rights in what you generate
The result we produce for you is yours to use. You can keep it, edit it, read it aloud, publish it, or print it. We don't claim ownership of the output of the tools.
Credits
- Credits are attached to the email address you used at purchase. They are not transferable between emails.
- Each tool uses one credit per unlock. Credits do not expire during normal use. Credits attached to an account that has been inactive for 24 months may expire after we email the account-holder a notice 30 days in advance.
- If a tool fails to produce a result because of a problem on our end, the credit is automatically restored. If a result was produced but you simply aren't happy with it, you can write it again with a different tone or memories — each draft uses one credit.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the tools to generate content that is illegal, threatening, harassing, or intended to defame another person.
- Use the tools to impersonate someone else in a way intended to deceive.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, overwhelm, or otherwise abuse the service.
- Use the tools to generate content that violates the acceptable-use policies of the underlying AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google).
No warranty on the output
The tools are powered by large-language-model AI systems. The output is generally very good, and we've tuned the prompts carefully. But AI systems are not infallible, and the result may occasionally contain errors, awkward phrasings, or factual inaccuracies — especially if your input contains them. You are responsible for reading the result before you use it for anything that matters.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for things that by law cannot be limited — such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
Changes
We may change these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page and, where applicable, by emailing registered users before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time by closing the page. If you'd like your account and data deleted, email us. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of iHandleIt is resident. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where local consumer-protection law gives you a right to bring a claim in your own country.
